The CORK Rocking Dog is a playful yet sculptural object made from a single piece of solid cork. Its abstract silhouette reinterprets the traditional rocking horse through a contemporary lens, creating a durable, lightweight, and ready-to-use design. The soft, resilient material dampens noise, protects surrounding surfaces, and provides a safe tactile experience for children.

The project was inspired by the idea of distilling a beloved childhood icon into its purest form translated into other animal shapes. By combining the expressive simplicity of a sculptural object with the natural comfort and safety of cork, the design bridges play, sustainability, and contemporary interiors.
